Craving NYC
Going to NYC soon.
Being somewhat of a creature of habit, I will most likely stop for my usual late afternoon lunch at Cafe Gitane and have the Chicken Cous Cous…yum!
Plenty of fun and inspiration to come! Trade shows, friends, food, parties, walking…OH, and a friend gave me tickets to see the Swedish band – The Radio Dept!

Spent the day downtown doing my civic duty – jury duty. Luckily it gave me time to read a book, had a yummy lunch and did a little shopping in Little Tokyo. Also, luckily by 4pm my name had not been called and I was excused – phew! Finally outside, on the trek back to my car, right outside the court building, I spotted this downtown LA directory. After being in such an uninspiring atmosphere for 8 hours, I was anxious to find something interesting and this caught my eye – yikes! but kind of pretty…and a lot going on. (click images to enlarge)
7,000 – 10,000 people serve as jurors every day.
The Los Angeles court is the largest in the US.
Color Inspiration
Had to take my nephew to the ear clinic today for a routine check up. While in the waiting room, I enjoyed looking at these forms and colors. Some people might think these colors are gross but I found them sweet, especially in this displayed combination. Piggy pink, avocado green, teal green – and all a bit muted.
