So GAZOOR!

We just received a new delivery of felt animals from GAZOOR. Each one is handmade by designer, Iris Savir. GAZOOR in Hebrew = 1: cut, dissected; 2: slang for someone who is unique and different. Iris is a very unique person and she creates all her animals from scratch. As she sews each one, some develop such strong personalities she has to keep them in her personal collection. Currently we have elephants, turtles, and rabbits in stock. They are made from wool felt and prices range between $74. – $220.

Cats + Rugs = Cozy!

This last week I had the pleasure of visiting my friend, Evelyn in Fairfield, CT. Evelyn is the rep, distributor and designer of the plastic woven rugs we carry from Sweden. Not only is she a full time rug pusher she is also a full time cat rescuer. What more could I ask for – 2 of my favorite things – cats and rugs! Evelyn – aka: Magdelena York Collection; reps the Stockholm line we carry in the Savanne’s and solid’s. She also has rolls of colorful bold stripes that she herself cuts and hems into custom lengths from her Dalarna line. All the plastic rugs are made of 50% recycled plastic, mildew resistant, machine washable, and hypoallergenic. It’s not all plastic – she also has beautiful lines in wool, linen and cotton. During my stay, the cats and I got to be the first to see new samples arrive – totally cat approved! Click on photo’s below to direct links.
